Natural dyes produced from the plants are used for dying cloths, design, painting and the industrially used for production of food colorants, cosmetics and so on. In recent years, a growing interest in the revival of natural dyes had been manifested. This is due to the synthetic dyes produce a large variety of colors also produce toxic waste, which was hazardous to human health. In this work we developed a database of those plants those produces different colours. Currently it contains all total 200 plant entries. A menu driven search engine allows the user to retrieve stored information for each plants such as name of the plant , family, local name, part of the plants used for dye yielding process, type of colours produced by the plant and with reference. This is a unique database of this kind will help the scientific community for further research in this field.
